Lane Hutson snaps slump with power-play assist in win
by Bruno Mulé | Canadiens Correspondent | Wed, Feb 5th 11:37am EST
Lane Hutson registered a power-play assist in Tuesday’s 4-3 victory over San Jose, setting up a Cole Caufield goal in the second period. The helper ended Hutson’s five-game point drought, which followed a nine-game scoring streak earlier in the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Hutson’s playmaking ability remains a key asset for Montreal’s power play, as 17 of his 37 assists have come with the man advantage. While his minus-15 rating and lack of goal-scoring (just three this season) limit his overall fantasy value, his steady role as a power-play quarterback makes him a viable option in leagues that reward assists and special teams production.
