Alex Newhook registers two points in win over Sharks

Alex Newhook scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Tuesday’s 4-3 victory over San Jose. He gave the Canadiens their first lead of the game in the second period before setting up Brendan Gallagher’s tally in the third. This marked Newhook’s first multi-point outing since Dec. 28 against Florida.
Fantasy Impact:
Newhook continues to see steady second-line minutes but hasn't delivered consistent fantasy production. With just 16 points (10 goals, six assists) through 53 games, he's well off last season’s pace of 34 points in 55 appearances. While his three power-play points offer some upside, his minus-13 rating and limited scoring make him a fringe fantasy option in most formats. Managers should monitor his role, but he remains a risky depth play.
