Connor McMichael picked up two points for the Capitals Monday night, scoring one goal and picking up one assist in a 5-4 win over the Senators.

McMichael has heated up in the offensive zone, collecting points in six of his last eight games (four goals, four assists) for the Capitals. The center has offered head coach Spencer Carberry one of a multitude of options as part of a deep Washington lineup, posting 47 points (22 goals, 25 assists) in 61 games so far this season.
