Ben Bishop gets minimal support in loss to Detroit

by Julius Bzozowski | Stars Correspondent | Wed, Nov 4th 4:38pm EST

Tampa Bay G Ben Bishop played well on Tuesday, as he stopped 27 of the 29 shots he faced. However, his team was only able to put one goal past Detroit G Jimmy Howard. The Red Wings were victorious by a score of 2-1. (ESPN.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Bishop is playing well right now, but the rest of his team is not. He has surrendered two goals or less in four straight starts, but his team has lost those four starts by scores of 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, and 2-1. It is hard to imagine the Tampa Bay Lightning offense being held down for much longer, and Bishop will be a strong play again once they find their form. He may still be a strong play right now for his save percentage and goals against average, even with the team's offensive woes leading to few wins.
