Thatcher Demko makes 17 saves in easy win

Thatcher Demko stopped 17 of 18 shots in a comfortable 5-1 victory over the Flames on Thursday. He was not tested often, as Calgary was playing the second game of a back-to-back set.
Fantasy Impact:
Demko enters the season as Vancouver's undisputed No. 1 goaltender. While backup Kevin Lankinen could earn some starts if Demko struggles, the job is firmly his to lose. He should be treated as a reliable starting goalie in all fantasy formats. His next start will be a difficult road test Saturday against the Oilers.
