Depending on the depth of your league, Boeser is likely a fringe start at this point.

Fantasy Impact: Hughes extended his point streak to four consecutive games. He has 48 points in 55 games and remains an excellent option from the blue line.

The Canucks fell behind 2-1 by the end of the first period of play, but Travis Hamonic and Vasily Podkolzin picked up a goal a piece to give the team a 3-2 advantage heading into the third. They eventually pulled away with a quick third period goal and closed things out with an empty-netter to make it 5-2.

Fantasy Impact: The goal put the defenseman at eight on the season and also notched him his 200th career point. He quickly picked up 201 with an assist in the second period. Motte added a block and came out in the positive in this one.

Nils Hoglander tallied his fifth assist of the season, two PIM, three SOG, and one hit in a 3-2 loss to Boston.

Fantasy Impact: Hoglander's first period assist marked his first point in five games. With Vancouver struggling to get going offensively, Hoglander is best left on the bench.

Tucker Poolman scored a goal and added an assist for a +2 and the lone bright spot in Vancouver's loss to Colorado.

Fantasy Impact: Poolman is certainly not known for his offensive prowess, but he is having a solid year overall. He is up to 14 hits, 27 blocked shots, 10 PIM, and a +5 on the season. He's not worth rostering at this point but stick him on your emergency list should you need a fill-in.

Braden Holtby allowed three goals in the Stars' 4-3 shootout loss to the Jets on Tuesday. He saved 32-35 shots against while taking the loss.

Fantasy Impact: Holtby has played better than his 2-3-1 record would indicate. He should continue to get a lot of ice-time going forward.

Adam Gaudette was able to record his first two assists of the season in Monday night's 4-0 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Fantasy Impact: With the two points, Gaudette was able to double his season output. Through 21 games, he now has two goals and two assists. He should not pop up on your fantasy radar.

Fantasy Impact: This was a huge night for Schmidt, who had just five points coming into the game. His Canucks career has gotten off to a slow start so far, but hopefully this can get him going.

Alexander Edler and his Canucks teammates were unable to put up any offence against the Edmonton Oilers Thursday night, losing by a final of 3-0.

Fantasy Impact: This now marks four straight losses for the Canucks, who are falling further and further from a playoff spot. Edler's play certainly hasn't helped, as the usually reliable Swedish defenceman has just four assists on the year.

Jordie Benn was able to record an assist on a Elias Pettersson goal in Tuesday night's tilt versus the Edmonton Oilers.

Fantasy Impact: With the assist, Benn now has three points in his last four outings. The 33-year-old defenceman who registered just seven points last season is already up to six this year. While it isn't likely to continue, he is on a bit of a hot streak right now.
