Zeev Buium tallied two points for the Canucks Sunday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 2-1 win over the Devils.

Fantasy Impact: Buium has provided mixed results in the offensive zone of late, notching points in four of his last eight games (one goal, four assists) for the Canucks. The 20-year-old will look to take advantage of a more sizeable role as part of a rebuilding Vancouver lineup, recording 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 32 games so far this season.

Filip Hronek recorded one assist in the Canucks' 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets Saturday night.

Fantasy Impact: Hronek has offered mixed results in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in four of his last eight games (four assists) for the Canucks. The 28-year-old defenseman has offered head coach Adam Foote an underperforming offensive option from the Vancouver blueline to this point, recording eight points (eight assists) through 16 games this season.

Kevin Lankinen allowed four goals on 34 shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Blues. St. Louis' fifth and final tally was scored into an empty net. Lankinen made 30 saves in his first start of the campaign.

Fantasy Impact: This was Lankinen's first start of the season, and it does little to change his fantasy outlook. He serves as the clear backup to Thatcher Demko and will likely only see action in back-to-back situations or to give the starter a rest. Fantasy managers in standard leagues can leave Lankinen on the waiver wire, though he may have some value as a spot starter or handcuff in deeper formats.

Thatcher Demko stopped 17 of 18 shots in a comfortable 5-1 victory over the Flames on Thursday. He was not tested often, as Calgary was playing the second game of a back-to-back set.

Fantasy Impact: Demko enters the season as Vancouver's undisputed No. 1 goaltender. While backup Kevin Lankinen could earn some starts if Demko struggles, the job is firmly his to lose. He should be treated as a reliable starting goalie in all fantasy formats. His next start will be a difficult road test Saturday against the Oilers.

Filip Chytil netted a pair of goals in Thursday's 5-1 victory over the Flames. Chytil scored both of his goals in Vancouver's dominant third period, finishing the contest with five shots, a plus-2 rating, and two PIM.

Fantasy Impact: This is a fantastic start for Chytil, who is opening the season as the Canucks' second-line center. While it's a valuable role, the team has a notable lack of center depth, meaning Chytil will need to produce consistently to solidify his position. After posting 26 points in 56 games last season, he has some fantasy appeal due to his deployment, but managers should view him as a volatile asset until he proves he can maintain this level of production.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 5-1 victory over the Flames. The 21-year-old winger extended Vancouver's lead to 4-0 with his third-period tally.

Fantasy Impact: Lekkerimaki is beginning the campaign in a middle-six role, a significant opportunity for the former first-round pick. He posted six points in 24 games with the Canucks last season and will need to produce with some consistency to maintain his spot in the lineup. He is a promising prospect worth monitoring in all formats and is a solid speculative addition in deeper leagues for managers looking for offensive upside.

Arshdeep Bains recorded an assist, two hits, and two blocked shots in Thursday's 5-1 victory over the Flames. Bains earned the helper on the second of Filip Chytil's two goals.

Fantasy Impact: Bains is starting the season in an elevated middle-six role, skating on the second line with Filip Chytil and Conor Garland. While the deployment is encouraging, the 24-year-old has a limited track record of offensive production at the NHL level, with just one goal in his first 21 career games prior to Thursday. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues can monitor his performance, but he does not yet warrant a roster spot in most standard formats.

Drew O'Connor recorded an assist, two PIM, and a plus-2 rating during Thursday's 5-1 victory over the Flames.

Fantasy Impact: O'Connor is currently filling a fourth-line role for the Canucks with Nils Hoglander (lower body) and Teddy Blueger (undisclosed) sidelined. The 27-year-old is a capable defensive forward, but he offers limited offensive upside and doesn't contribute enough in peripheral categories to warrant fantasy consideration. He can be safely left on the waiver wire in all formats.

J.T. Miller was able to light the lamp for the Rangers Saturday, scoring two goals in a 6-3 loss to the Bruins.

Fantasy Impact: Miller has heated up in the offensive zone of late, registering points in six of his last seven games (three goals, five assists). The winger will look to provide an underperforming New York lineup with an offensive spark after being acquired from Vancouver, tallying 37 points (11 goals, 26 assists) in 41 games so far this season.

Arturs Silovs stopped 23-of-26 shots during a 4-1 loss in Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Silvos and Kevin Lankinen will likely share the goaltending duties for the Canucks since Thatcher Demko was placed on the non-roster injured reserve list with a lower-body injury. Silovs has made 11 career NHL starts in three seasons posting a combined 6-3-2 record with a 2.96 GAA and .885 SV%.

Casey DeSmith struggled in net for the Canucks Saturday, allowing four goals on 28 shots faced in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: DeSmith has struggled in limited action in the crease of late, allowing three or more goals in four of his last five starts (1-1-3) for the Canucks. The veteran netminder has fought consistency issues while serving as the backup to No.1 netminder Thatcher Demko for head coach Rick Tocchet, posting a 2.74 GAA and .908 save percentage in 16 appearances (7-3-5) so far this season.

Colin Delia was solid in net for the Canucks Friday night, stopping 24 of 26 shots faced in a 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

Fantasy Impact: Delia has allowed three goals or less in four of his last five appearances (3-1-0) for the Canucks, posting a .910 save percentage in that span. The 28-year-old netminder is an intriguing option until No. 1 goaltender Thatcher Demko returns from injury, posting a 2.94 GAA and .898 save percentage in 11 appearances (6-3-0) in the crease so far this season.
