Morgan Barron scored a shorthanded goal in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Stars. His third-period tally briefly sparked a comeback attempt for the Jets in the season-opening game.
Fantasy Impact:
Barron is a bottom-six forward who provides energy and physicality but offers very little in the way of offensive production. He posted just 15 points in 74 games last season, and while he contributes a decent number of hits, it's not enough to make him relevant in most fantasy formats. Barron can be safely left on the waiver wire.
