Jonathan Toews scored his first goal since the 2022-23 season in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames. His power-play tally early in the third period served as the game-tying goal for Winnipeg.

Fantasy Impact: Toews, who returned to the NHL this season after a two-year absence, is starting to heat up offensively with four points (1G, 3A) over his last four contests. He is seeing regular time on the second power-play unit, where three of his four points have come. While his days as a top fantasy center are behind him, his role on the man advantage provides some value in deeper leagues.

Eric Comrie earns first win of the season

Eric Comrie made 33 saves on 35 shots in Monday's 5-2 victory over the Islanders. After a clean first period, Comrie allowed two goals in the second frame but was able to cruise to his first win of the season thanks to a comfortable lead.

Fantasy Impact: Comrie serves as the clear backup to reigning Hart and Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck. While his starting opportunities will be limited, the 30-year-old is a strong streaming option in all fantasy formats whenever he gets the nod. He will likely see action primarily in back-to-back situations.

Logan Stanley recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 victory over the Islanders. He also contributed three hits, a blocked shot, and two PIM. The multi-point effort marked the defenseman's first points of the 2025-26 season.

Fantasy Impact: Stanley is currently skating on the second pairing alongside Neal Pionk while filling in for the injured Haydn Fleury. His ice time has steadily increased through the first three games, which is an encouraging sign. While his elevated role may be temporary, Stanley's ability to contribute in peripheral categories gives him some sneaky value in deeper fantasy leagues, particularly those that count hits.

Fantasy Impact: Barron is off to an excellent start, with four points (2G, 2A) through three games. He is currently filling in as the fourth-line center for the injured Adam Lowry, who is expected to return in late October. While Barron's production will likely dip once Lowry is back in the lineup, his strong play has put him on the radar in deeper fantasy formats. He's a name to monitor, but managers should be aware that his current role is temporary.

Fantasy Impact: The 33-year-old is coming off a 27-point campaign with Vegas last season and is currently skating on the Jets' fourth line. Despite the multi-point effort, Pearson's limited role and fluctuating ice time make him a non-factor in most fantasy formats for the time being. He can be left on the waiver wire.

Fantasy Impact: Namestnikov's four points were his first of the season in four games. Last year, in 78 games with Winnipeg, he produced 11 goals and 26 assists with a plus-17 rating.

Mason Appleton scored a goal and added two assists during Winnipeg's 6-0 win in Edmonton on opening night. He played 16:11 minutes in the win registering three shots, two hits, and one block with a plus-three rating,.

Fantasy Impact: Appleton played in 82 games last season posting 14 goals and 22 assists (36 points) with a plus-16 rating. He's a third-line winger capable of a big goal occasionally, but not enough for fantasy roster consideration.

Pierre-Luc Dubois tallied one assist in the Jets' 3-1 loss to the Flames Wednesday night.

Fantasy Impact: Dubois has been solid of late in the offensive zone for the Jets, notching points in four of his last six games (two goals, three assists) for the club. The 24-year-old winger has been fairly productive for most of the season for fantasy owners, notching 61 points (26 goals, 35 assists) in 70 games so far this season.

Fantasy Impact: Rittich has allowed three goals or less in each of his last three starts (1-2-0) for the Jets, posting a .905 save percentage in that span. The 30-year-old netminder has been mostly reliable when called upon to spell No. 1 goaltender Connor Hellebuyck this season, carrying a 2.47 GAA and .911 save percentage in 17 appearances (9-6-0) in net so far this season.
