Fantasy Impact: Pionk has collected a point in four of his last five games, all via the assist. Despite heating up as of late, the defenseman only has 28 points in 55 games. Fantasy managers are better off finding a more consistent option.

Comrie started off rough, surrendering three goals nearly midway into the second period, but turned it around from there, as he was perfect, and allowed his team to rally from a 3-2 deficit in the third period and pull away with a 5-3 road victory.

Fantasy Impact: The win brings the goalkeeper to 6-2-1 on the season and stopped 26-of-29 shots for an .897 save-percentage.

Despite the score reading 5-1 in favor of the Winnipeg Jets, Laurent Brossoit actually made 15 saves on all 15 shots that he faced. Brossoit had to leave the game for 69 seconds of game play due to an equipment issue. Unfortunately for both Brossoit and Connor Hellebuyck who came in for that short period of time, the Red Wings were able to get one by Hellebuyck. The goal on Hellebuyck meant that Brossoit would not get credit for a shutout.

Fantasy Impact: Laurent Brossoit has been solid when called upon for the Winnipeg Jets. Look for him to get starts when the team finds themselves in back to back situations, or when Connor Hellebuyck simply needs a break. With the way the Winnipeg Jets are playing right now, Brossoit can be a useful spot start for your team when he gets in the net.

Patrik Laine scored his 9th goal of the season on Tuesday night when the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Detroit Red Wings 5-1.

Fantasy Impact: Up next for Patrik Laine and the Jets is another game against the lowly Red Wings, this time in Detroit on Thursday night. Laine and his team should be poised for another strong night offensively.

Bryan Little was placed on IR this morning after a scary incident on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. Little took an errant puck to the side of the head which led to him leaving the game and getting 25-30 stitches. Little was also transported to a local hospital for neurological evaluation. It is expected that Little will be released from hospital today and will make a full recovery. At this time there is no timeline for his return to hockey related activities. Fantasy Impact: Bryan Little has had his share of bad luck to open the 2019-20 season. He opened the season on the IR after taking a hit to the head in the final preseason game which saw him miss the opening 9 games. Little has since played 7 games but he will now miss at least a week of action, maybe more.
