Connor Hellebuyck struggles in season opener
by Bruno Mulé | Jets Correspondent | Fri, Oct 10th 10:41am EDT
Connor Hellebuyck stopped 32 of 37 shots in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Stars. It was an uncharacteristically difficult night for the star netminder, who allowed five or more goals just seven times during his entire 2024-25 campaign.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a rough start for the reigning Hart and Vezina Trophy winner, but fantasy managers have no reason to panic. Hellebuyck remains one of the league's truly elite, workhorse goaltenders and should quickly bounce back from this poor performance. He is a must-start, top-tier fantasy goalie in all formats. His next scheduled start is Saturday against the Kings.
