Jack Hughes posted one assist in the Devils' 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Hughes was mostly contained in the offensive zone in the season opener, recording just one shot in the loss. The 24-year-old should once again provide fantasy managers with elite-level offensive output as part of a talented New Jersey lineup for head coach Sheldon Keefe as the season moves forward.
