Mason Appleton notched one assist in the Red Wings' 2-1 loss to the Lightning Friday night.
Fantasy Impact:
Appleton has caught fire in the offensive zone, posting points in each of the last three games (three goals, one assist) for the Red Wings. The forward will look to continue to maximize increased minutes as part of a re-tooled Detroit lineup to begin the season for head coach Todd McClellan.
