Tage Thompson was able to light the lamp for the Sabres Monday night, scoring one goal in a 5-1 win over the Oilers.

Thompson continues an impactful stretch in the offensive zone, tallying points in six of his last nine games (five goals, four assists) for the Sabres. The 28-year-old remains one of the few reliable offensive options as part of an underperforming Buffalo lineup for head coach Lindy Ruff, posting 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 19 games so far this season.
