Matthew Knies recorded one assist in the Maple Leafs' 2-1 win over the Blue Jackets Wednesday night.

Knies was impactful in his first game action since November 15, finding his way onto the score sheet in the win. The 23-year-old continues to offer head coach Craig Berube a gritty power forward option as part of an underperforming Toronto lineup, notching a 1.15 point per game average (five goals, 18 assists) in 20 games so far this season.
