Matthew Knies has been traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets according to Elliotte Friedman.
Fantasy Impact
Knies joins Steven Lorentz, Emil Andrae, and a 2027 second-round pick on their way to Columbus, with Kirill Marchenko, Miles Wood, and Elvis Merzlikins sent to the Maple Leafs in return. The imposing winger offers Columbus a dynamic two-way forward option that has no problem being physical as well, tallying 66 points (23 goals, 43 assists) to go along with 152 hits in 79 games with Toronto during the 2025-26 campaign.
