Ivan Demidov was able to find the back of the net for the Canadiens Saturday night, scoring one goal in a 7-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Demidov has heated up in the offensive zone, recording points in five of his last six games (two goals, four assists) for the Canadiens. The rookie winger has provided head coach Martin St. Louis with one of the more steady offensive options as part of an inconsistent Montreal lineup, notching 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) in 24 games so far this season.
