Alex DeBrincat was able to light the lamp for the Red Wings Tuesday night, scoring two goals in a 3-2 win over the Islanders.

DeBrincat has caught fire in the offensive zone, posting points in seven of his last eight games (eight goals, five assists) for the Red Wings. The 27-year-old has provided head coach Todd McClellan one of the more explosive offensive options as part of an inconsistent Detroit lineup, carrying a 1.15 point per game average (20 goals, 19 assists) in 34 games so far this season.
