Alex Ovechkin tallied two points for the Capitals Saturday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 4-3 win over the Devils.

Ovechkin has struggled to make a consistent impact in the offensive zone of late, recording points in three of his last eight games (one goal, three assists) for the Capitals. The 40-year-old remains one of the more reliable offensive options as part of an inconsistent Washington lineup for head coach Spencer Carberry, tallying 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 38 games so far this season.
