Nikolaj Ehlers posted three points for the Hurricanes Thursday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 7-5 loss to the Canadiens.

Ehlers has offered mixed results in the offensive zone of late, recording points in six of his last 11 games (three goals, seven assists) for the Hurricanes. The 29-year-old remains one of many productive offensive options in the Carolina lineup for head coach Rod Brindamour, tallying 29 points (nine goals, 20 assists) in 40 games so far this season.
