Frederik Andersen was strong in the crease for the Hurricanes Thursday night, stopping 24 of 25 shots faced in a 4-1 win over the Canadiens.

Fantasy Impact: Andersen made the most guarding the net for the first time since November 2 for the Hurricanes, posting a .960 save percentage in a winning effort. The veteran netminder will look to fortify Carolina's inconsistent goaltending to this point, posting a 2.57 GAA and .904 save percentage in seven appearances (5-1-0) between the pipes so far this season.

Sebastian Aho picked up one assist in the Hurricanes' 4-1 win over the Canadiens Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact: Aho continues an impactful stretch in the offensive zone of late, tallying points in six of his last eight games (five goals, three assists) for the Hurricanes. The explosive center continues to offer fantasy managers a dynamic option in lineups on a nightly basis, carrying a 1.10 point per game average (24 goals, 41 assists) in 59 games so far this season.

Andrei Svechnikov notched two points for the Hurricanes Thursday night, scoring one goal and picking up one assist in a 4-1 win over the Canadiens.

Fantasy Impact: Svechnikov continues a strong stretch in the offensive zone of late, posting points in seven of his last nine games (three goals, six assists) for the Hurricanes. The winger has been a mostly reliable lineup option as part of a deep Carolina forward group for head coach Rod Brindamour, recording 39 points (14 goals, 25 assists) while also racking up 112 hits in 41 games so far this season.

Pyotr Kochetkov was brilliant between the pipes for the Hurricanes Thursday night, stopping all 45 shots faced in a 1-0 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Kochetkov continues a strong stretch in the crease of late, allowing less than three goals in four of his last five starts (4-1-0) for the Hurricanes. The 24-year-old continues to be the more reliable option in goal for head coach Rod Brindamour, posting a 2.37 GAA and .911 save percentage to go along with three shutouts in 29 appearances (15-9-3) in the crease so far this season.

Stefan Noesen was able to find the back of the net for the Hurricanes Saturday night, scoring one goal in a 3-1 win over the Golden Knights.

Fantasy Impact: Noesen has struggled to make a consistent impact in the offensive zone of late, notching points in just two of his last nine games (one goal, one assist) for the Hurricanes. The winger offers minimal value to fantasy managers despite playing a key depth forward role for a balanced Carolina squad, picking up 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists) to go along with 73 hits in 53 games so far this season.

Seth Jarvis tallied two points for the Hurricanes Saturday night, scoring one goal and adding one assist in a 3-1 win over the Golden Knights.

Fantasy Impact: Jarvis continues a torrid stretch in the offensive zone of late, recording points in nine of his last 10 games (three goals, eight assists) for the Hurricanes. The center continues to be one of many steady two-way forward options as part of a balanced Carolina forward group, posting 44 points (18 goals, 26 assists) while also registering 90 hits in 54 games so far this season.

Michael Bunting was able to find the back of the net for the Hurricanes Friday night, scoring one goal in a 5-1 win over the Coyotes.

Fantasy Impact: Bunting has struggled to remain involved in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in three of his last eight games (two goals, one assist) for the Hurricanes. The feisty winger continues to be a frustratingly inconsistent forward option for fantasy managers, recording just 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) to go along with 23 hits in 52 games so far this season.

Martin Necas picked up two assists in the Hurricanes' 5-1 win over the Coyotes Friday night.

Fantasy Impact: Necas continues a torrid stretch in the offensive zone of late, registering points in eight of his last 11 games (eight goals, four assists) for the Hurricanes. The center is one of many options as part of a deep Carolina forward group for head coach Rod Brindamour, notching 37 points (16 goals, 21 assists) to go along with 54 hits in 48 games so far this season.

Teuvo Teravainen picked up four assists in the Hurricanes' 5-2 win over the Avalanche Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact: Teravainen has heated up in the offensive zone of late, registering points in four of his last five games (two goals, seven assists) in four of his last five games for the Hurricanes. The winger has been one of many mostly steady options as part of a disciplined Carolina forward group for head coach Rod Brindamour, recording 34 points (16 goals, 18 assists) in 50 games so far this season.

Brent Burns notched two assists in the Hurricanes' 5-2 win over the Avalanche Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact: Burns continues a solid stretch in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in five of his last eight games (six assists) for the Hurricanes. The dynamic blueliner still offers a game-changing lineup option despite a down year for fantasy managers, picking up 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) to go along with 22 hits in 50 games so far this season.

Shayne Gostisbehere scored his 13th goal and added his 28th assist in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: The veteran was moved to Carolina at the trade deadline and ended up being a great fit and defenceman in deeper formats. Gostishbehere ends the campaign with 13 goals and 28 assists over 75 games, and has a chance to be a difference-maker for the Canes in the playoffs. He may work well as a back-end defensive option in any playoff pools or DFS formats.

Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored his 18th goal of the year and added four shots on not in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Kotkaniemi has goals in two straight games, which may mean he is heating up just in time for the postseason. He had flashes of greatness this year, but he was pretty underwhelming for the most part. He finished with a career-high 43 points on the year, and may be a sleeper pick for any playoff pools or Fantasy DFS slates.

Jesper Fast added two shots and scored his tenth goal of the season in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: The veteran finished the regular season with 10 goals and 19 assists in 80 games. He was pretty durable and provided the Canes with a veteran presence on their checking line. He does not have the offensive upside to be a major contributor, and should probably be left off of any DFS slates or playoff fools.

Jack Drury added four shots and his eighth assist of the season in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact: Drury is more of a prospect than an everyday contributor right now, as he did not see a lot of ice time in the 38 games he played, which is why he only finished with 8 points. However, he has the pedigree of someone who could be a wild-card contributor for a Canes team loaded with veterans. Keep your eyes peeled on him as he could be an intriguing sleeper for next season.

Antti Raanta stopped 20 out of 21 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Fantasy Impact: Raanta improved to 19-3-3 with a 2.23 GAA and .910 SV%. It remains to be seen whether or not he earns the start in the regular season finale, but if he does, ensure he is in all lineups and DFS formats.

Jordan Martinook scored his 13th goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

Fantasy Impact: The veteran is up to a modest 34 points on the year. He is one of many Hurricanes with over 30 points, which makes for a good team in real life, but does not necessarily equate to the same level of production in Fantasy formats as this Hurricanes' roster shares the spotlight. Leave him on the waiver wire to close out the season.

Brett Pesce added a hit, a shot, a blocked shot, and his fifth goal of the season in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.

Fantasy Impact: Pesce has been a solid producer in multiple categories this year. He has 30 points in 79 games, which is not a lot, but that level of offence paired with production across the board in other categories makes for a solid back-end option in deep leagues. He does not need to be rostered to close out the season, but if you are desperate you could do worse.

Category: Game Recaps

Brady Skjei added his 18th assist and scored on the powerplay for his 18th goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Senators.

Fantasy Impact: Skjei continues to be a solid source of offence to close out the season for the Canes. The veteran has 36 points on the year and is three away from matching his career high of 39 from last year. Continue using him as a depth defenceman in your league as he is productive in all formats of Fantasy hockey.

Jesse Puljujarvi added his 10th assist of the year and first with the Canes in the 2-1 win over the Islanders on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The winger was simply not a fit in Edmonton, and it seems like he is not a fit in Carolina either, as he has just one point in 11 games with the new team. With just five goals and 10 assists on 69 games this year, ignore him in all formats of Fantasy to close out the season.

Paul Stastny added four shots and scored his ninth goal and thirteenth assist of the season in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Canadiens.

Fantasy Impact: The veteran's days of being a must-roster forward are way behind him. The fourth-line grinder has just 22 points on the season and offers minimal upside. Do not consider him in any format to close the season out.
