John Carlson posted two assists in the Capitals' 5-1 win over the Blackhawks Friday night.

Carlson has offered mixed results in the offensive zone, recording points in five of his last 10 games (two goals, five assists) for the Capitals. The 36-year-old remains one of the more productive offensive options from the blueline in the Washington lineup, posting 34 points (nine goals, 25 assists) in 41 games so far this season.
