Mathew Barzal notched two assists in the Islanders' 4-3 win over the Canucks Monday night.

Barzal continues a productive stretch in the offensive zone, posting points in six of his last eight games (one goal, nine assists) for the Islanders. The 28-year-old remains one of the few impactful offensive options as part of an underwhelming New York lineup for head coach Patrick Roy, tallying 40 points (11 goals, 29 assists) in 48 games so far this season.
