Martin Necas tallied two assists in an Avalanche' 5-2 win over the Capitals Monday.

Necas has caught fire in the offensive zone, posting points in four of his last five games (three goals, four assists) for the Avalanche. The 27-year-old remains one of many dynamic offensive options in the Colorado lineup for head coach Jared Bednar, carrying a 1.28 point per game average (22 goals, 38 assists) in 47 games so far this season.
