Matthew Knies was able to light the lamp for the Maple Leafs Tuesday night, scoring one goal in a 7-4 loss to the Sabres.

Knies has offered mixed results in the offensive zone of late, picking up points in four of his last seven games (one goal, five assists) for the Maple Leafs. The 23-year-old continues to provide head coach Craig Berube with an imposing, two-way forward option in the Toronto lineup, recording 44 points (13 goals, 31 assists) in 50 games so far this season.
