Mathew Barzal was able to light the lamp for the Islanders Monday night, scoring the lone goal in a 4-1 loss to the Capitals.

Barzal continues an impactful stretch in the offensive zone, posting points in eight of his last 11 games (four goals, seven assists) for the Islanders. The 28-year-old remains one of the more productive offensive options in the New York lineup for head coach Patrick Roy, tallying 47 points (15 goals, 32 assists) in 55 games so far this season.
