Tage Thompson was able to light the lamp for the Sabres Friday night, scoring one goal in a 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.
Fantasy Impact:
Thompson has heated up in the offensive zone, posting points in four of his last five games (three goals, two assists) for the Sabres. The forward continues to offer head coach Lindy Ruff one of the more explosive offensive options in the Buffalo lineup, tallying a 1.03 point per game average (37 goals, 38 assists) in 73 games so far this season.
