Anders Lee scored the lone Islander goal in their 2-1 loss to the Red Wings on Tuesday. He had one goal on five SOG in 13:53 of ice-time.
Lee is in the midst of a strange season. Through 19 games played he now has eight goals and no assists. This is abnormal look for him to get a few assists in the near future. He is not worth owning in fantasy leagues.
Per the New York Islanders on Twitter, Andres Lee has been placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.
The Islanders have not stated if Lee has tested positive, which means it is not a guarantee that he will miss any time. Fantasy managers are going to want to keep a close eye on the situation, as the Islanders host the Flames tomorrow night.
Anders Lee finds the back of the net twice in the 2-5 loss to the Wild on Sunday evening.
It has been a slow start for Lee this season, only tallying four points thus far. A positive, he has now scored in back-to-back games. Lee needs to find better consistency to be a dependent starter at forward.
Anders Lee will have surgery to repair an ACL involving his right knee. He will miss the rest of the season. Lee led the Islanders in goals at the time he was injured.
Lee has been a good fantasy center for years. Probably has not been elite or an early-round pick for shallow fantasy leagues but useful in most leagues.
