Brian Elliot gives up three in road win

Pucks definitely weren’t bouncing the Coyotes way tonight. The veteran goalkeeper held on for the win, stopping 16-of-19 shots-on-goal for an .842 save-percentage.

Fantasy Impact

Elliot could have had a better night, but an off-speed shot from Keller on a Lightning turnover squeaked right under his legs, giving the Coyotes life. The team held on to win 4-3.

Brian Elliott blows three goal lead

Brian Elliott allowed three goal in the Lightnings 4-3 shootout loss to the Blues on Tuesday. Elliott saved 30-33 shots against in the loss.

Fantasy Impact

The Lightning came out in the first scoring three times. Then it fell apart. Elliott is not the only one to blame for the loss his record fell to 2-1-1. He should be left on the waiver wire because starts will come few and far between.

Brian Elliot gets injured during loss to Devils Thursday night

Despite some key and very stellar saves, Brian Elliot picked up a loss as well as a lower-body injury in the loss to the Devils on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact

Elliot suffered what appeared to be a groin injury in the loss Thursday. His injury is expected to last at least two weeks. Expect Alex Lyon to be promoted from the AHL, as well as to pick up some starts along the way. Neither Elliot or Lyon will have much fantasy relevance, until proven so.

Brian Elliot posts a 33 save shutout in Saturday's win over Hawks

Brian Elliot posted 33 saves for a shutout in the Flyers' win over the Blackhawks Saturday afternoon.

Fantasy Impact

It's Elliot's first shutout of the season, and he had undeniably his best game of the season. Elliot has stood on his head all season, and his stats are skewed due to the lack of defense. He is not worth a fantasy spot on your team.

Brian Elliot picks up a win in Flyers' win over Kings on Thursday

Brian Elliot picked up 25 saves on 27 shots faced in a win against the Kings on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact

Elliot has been the reason for blame from many Flyers' fans this year, and probably does not get the credit he deserves. For the lack of defense, he has stood on his head in most of his starts this season. However, due to this poor defensive help, it is probably better to look for a more consistent starting goaltender for your fantasy lineups.
