C - Toronto Maple Leafs
Calle Jarnkrok was able to find the back of the net for the Maple Leafs Tuesday night, scoring one goal in a 3-0 win over the Kings.
Jarnkrok has struggled to make much of an impact in the offensive zone of late, registering points in just two of his last nine games for the Maple Leafs. The forward provides plenty of the little things that are absent from the score sheet on a nightly basis for head coach Sheldon Keefe, carrying a +13 plus/minus to go along with 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) in 35 games so far this season.
Calle Jarnkrok was able to light the lamp for the Maple Leafs Friday night, scoring one goal in a 5-4 shootout win over the Flames.
Jarnkrok is in the middle of a torrid stretch in the offensive zone of late, tallying points in each of the last five games for the Maple Leafs. The gritty two-way forward continues to flash strong offensive potential as part of an inconsistent forward group for head coach Sheldon Keefe, scoring four goals and adding five assists for nine points in 14 games so far this season.
Calle Jarnkrok scored one goal in the Maple Leafs' 3-2 win over the Capitals Thursday.
Jarnkrok projects as a third or fourth line forward with potential to chip in 10-20 goals for a Toronto club in need of secondary scoring from their third and fourth lines in pursuit of a deep playoff run. Jarnkrok can stay on waivers until further notice.
The Calgary Flames acquired forward Calle Jarnkrok from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a second-round pick in 2022, a third-round pick in 2023, and a seventh-round pick in 2024.
Jarnkrok is having a decent season with 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) in 49 games on a struggling Seattle Kraken team. The fantasy impact is difficult to predict for managers because Jarnkrok will likely see a reduction in ice time but an increase in talent around him with the Flames. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on the situation in Calgary and Jarnkrok may be worth a speculative add.
