Derek MacKenzie with a goal versus the Penguins
Derek MacKenzie scored a goal on his only shot and had a rating of +2 in the game.
Fantasy Impact
He spent the first 7 years of his NHL career playing only on rare occasions (64 games in 7 seasons) so it is misleading to simply say that he is a 12 year veteran who had only scored 82 points, as 74 of those came in his past five seasons. At this point, a breakout seems highly unlikely so I would advise extreme caution before adding him outside very deep leagues.
