Devon Toews found the back of the net two times in Saturdays 3-2 win over Los Angeles. He finished the game with two goals, a plus-2 rating, two shots and two blocks.
Toews first goal was a nice move in the slot as the puck trickled into some open ice and he picked it up and fired it home over Calvin Pederson's glove. The second was from a seeing-eye pass sent over from Cale Makar that made it through three defenders and he promptly shot it home into the top left corner. He's currently tied his personal best in goals (9) and points (28) in a season with three games remaining on the schedule.
Devon Toews provided a solid stat line for fantasy managers in Colorado's 5-4 victory over the hosting Minnesota Wild. He registered an assist, a plus-3 rating, 2 PIM, four shots, two hits and two blocks.
All though he didn't score in this one. Devon Toews has been an excellent addition to the Avs this year and has helped shore up Colorado's blue line very well. He's up to six goals, 24 points, a plus-23, six PPP's, 81 shots, 25 hits and 62 blocks. He is producing well above his draft position.
Devon Toews found the back on the net on Saturday in a losing effort as the Avalanche suffered an overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
Toews sent a pass to Mackinnon who was posted up in his usual spot but instead of taking a one-timer he sent the puck back to his defenseman and potted it for his 6th of the season. He's up to 19 points and has been a solid addition to the blue line for Colorado.
Devon Toews contributed three assists in Colorado's 8-4 victory over the Ducks. He tallied three points, a plus-3 rating, two shots and one block.
Toews is up to five assists in his last four games. He has been a great addition to the Avalanche rear guard and there is no reason to think he will be slowing down in the Avs' high scoring offense. He's got four goals and 16 points this year. He doesn't produce a lot of hits but he'll help you out with blocks as well.
Devon Toews had a goal and a helper in Saturday's outdoor game vs the Vegas Golden Knights. He finished the game with a goal, an assist, a plus-1 rating, two shots and a block.
Toews goal came from a Nathan Mackinnon drop pass to which he unloaded from the point and found the back of the net. It was originally thought that Rantanen tipped it in but that wasn't the case and he now has four goals and seven points on the season. He's fitting in very well with the Avalanche and looks good playing with the talent that is Colorado's rear guard. However, for fantasy purposes he isn't registering a lot of blocks and hits so it limits his upside in leagues that value them.
