Rodrigues scored the Penguins first goal of the 5-2 victory on Tuesday.
This was the forward's first point for the Penguins in seven games played. He's not much of a factor for fantasy at ten points in 45 games (-8) overall.
Evan Rodrigues scored his 2nd goal of the season in the third period of the Sabres 3-1 win over the Coyotes on Thursday night.
Evan Rodrigues on the right line has potential but he is currently on the Sabres 4th even strength line but at least gets power play action. Rodrigues has 2 goals and 8 assists in 26 games. Unless Rodrigues gets a better pairing his value is restricted to only the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Evan Rodrigues got his 8th assist of the season on Johan Larrson’s third period goal in the Sabres 4-3 overtime win over the Kings on Tuesday night.
Evan Rodrigues has offensive ability but not the right line assignments to allow it to blossom. Rodrigues has 1 goal and 8 assists through 25 games. Rodrigues is in the second power play unit so that gives him more scoring chances. Rodrigues is best to ignore in most fantasy formats.
Evan Rodrigues got two points in the Sabres 5-2 win over the Flyers on Wednesday night. Rodrigues’s first point was his power play goal in the 1st period. Rodrigues then quickly followed that up with an assist on Johan Larsson’s goal in the first period.
Evan Rodrigues took his promotion to the top power play line and ran with it. Rodrigues got his 1st goal of the season on the power play. That goal and an assist brought his season total to 1 goal and 7 assists through 16 games. Rodrigues is still only on the 4th even strength line so until he gets regular top line assignments he can’t be counted on for fantasy purposes. If Rodrigues remains on the top power play unit he may be worth a stream in deep fantasy leagues.
Evan Rodrigues assisted in both of Vladimir Sobotka’s first period goals in the Sabres 6-5 overtime win over the Canadiens on Thursday night.
Evan Rodrigues could be on the cusp of an ascent to fantasy relevancy. Sometimes all it takes is a line change to light a fire under a player. Rodrigues joined Vladimir Sobotka and Sam Reinhart on the second line for Thursday nights game. The move appeared to be successful as the trio attributed for 2 goals. At this point Rodrigues is only worth monitoring as he has 0 goals and 6 assists through 13 games.
