LW - SJ
Svechnikov picked up the primary assist on the first Winnipeg goal in their loss to Boston.
The assist was the first in six games for the Jets winger. He's up to 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists) in 52 games this season.
The strike came at the 10:59 mark of the first period, putting the Jets up 2-1. The team was very quiet in the second period of play before pulling away with a three-goal third period, where his second point came, an assist to Kyle Connor which put the team up 4-3. Connor helped seal the deal with an empty-netter to make it 5-3, picking up his 31st and 32nd goals of the season in the victory.
It was the right-wingers fifth goal and eighth assist. He contributed one hit and one block to go along with his two shots-on-goal in 15:10 of ice-time.
Evgeny Svechnikov scored the opening goal in the Jets' 3-1 win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. He was a plus one with one goal, four SOG, one hit and one block in 7:37 of ice-time.
Svechnikov is an important piece to the Jets but is useless in fantasy leagues.
