Jaccob Slavin scored his 18th goal and added his seventh assist in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Red Wings.
The veteran is up to 25 points on the season in what has been a down year to say the least. He simply does not provide enough in any area to warrant a roster spot in any format. Leave him on the waiver wire to close out the season.
Jaccob Slavin scored his sixth goal of the season in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Jets
Slavin has really turned the corner offensively over the past few weeks. He had virtually zero offensive production around the all-star break, and now has a modest 21 points to his name. He should finish the year with close to 30 points, however, it will still be a down year on the whole for him, and he still deserves to be on the waiver wire in all formats.
Jaccob Slavin added five shots and scored his fifth goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Canadiens.
Slavin has finally started producing offensively as of late. He has five points in his last five games after earning just 15 in his previous 55 games. He may be turning a corner, so keep him watchlisted for now. If he can keep producing like this, he will be worth a spot in your league for the home stretch, as few defencemen on the waiver wire offer his multi-category potential.
Jaccob Slavin added his 15th assist and scored his fourth goal of the year in Friday's 6-1 win over the Coyotes.
The veteran has four points in his last three games, including a modest three-game point streak. By no means is this a sign that he is a must-roster player now, but he could be finally turning a corner. Keep an eye on him in case he continues to show signs of life on offence.
Jacob Slavin added four shots, an assist, and a block in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Ducks
Slavin had always been an elite multi-category producer, but this season he just failed to find his groove from the jump. He snapped a seven-game pointless drought in this one, and is now up to just 16 points on the year. Regardless, he is not doing enough to warrant a roster spot in any format right now, so feel free to leave him on the waiver wire in your league.
