Jeff Skinner scores in Sabres win

Jeff Skinner scored a goal in the Sabres' 4-2 win over the Jets on Tuesday. He was a plus one with one goal on four SOG in 12:47 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Skinner could be a useful piece on a Stanley Cup contender. He is not worth a add in fantasy leagues unless he gets moved. He now has nine goals and eight assists on the season.

Jeff Skinner finds twine twice in loss

Jeff Skinner scored two goals in the Sabres' 7-4 loss to the Kraken on Monday. He was a minus three with two goals, one PPG, four SOG and a hit in 20:00 of ice-time.

Fantasy Impact

Skinner has had two down years in a row after putting up 40 goals three years ago. Without Jack Eichel those numbers are not coming back. He is worth a stash to see if he can produce at a high level once again.

Jeff Skinner scores twice in loss

Jeff Skinner scored twice on Tuesday night's loss to the San Jose Sharks, bringing his season totals to three goals and two assists in nine games played.

Fantasy Impact

It's not quite the level of production that earned him the massive contract two years ago, but it is encouraging that he is already up to three goals in nine games after needing 27 games to get to that point last year. Although he might not be a top tier fantasy option, he could be a sleeper choice if he can get back to his old scoring ways. His production is certainly worth monitoring.

Sabres head coach confident Jeff Skinner will resign with team

New Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger claims he has been in contact with Jeff Skinner and is confident that they will come to terms on a new deal at some point this offseason.

Fantasy Impact

Skinner finished the 2018-19 campaign with 40 goals and 23 assists during his first season in Buffalo. If he is to eventually resign, he will most definitely be one of their important pieces to build around as the Sabres look to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2011.
