Jonathan Lekkerimaki

Jonathan Lekkerimaki scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 5-1 victory over the Flames. The 21-year-old winger extended Vancouver's lead to 4-0 with his third-period tally.

Fantasy Impact

Lekkerimaki is beginning the campaign in a middle-six role, a significant opportunity for the former first-round pick. He posted six points in 24 games with the Canucks last season and will need to produce with some consistency to maintain his spot in the lineup. He is a promising prospect worth monitoring in all formats and is a solid speculative addition in deeper leagues for managers looking for offensive upside.
