LW - CHI
Jujhar Khaira got the OK to leave the care of medical professionals after he was stretchered off the ice due to a hit from New York Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba on December 7th. According to Dr. Michael Terry, the prognosis is excellent and he is expected to make a full recovery.
There is no timeline for his return and as a result, has been put on IR. Khaira has two goals and a minus-2 rating on the season but was a force in the hits department averaging 3.6 per game since November 9th. He comes with C,LW,RW eligibility and would be a useful contributor in that department if your league values them.
Jujhar Khaira scored in Thursday night's 3-0 win against the Habs.
Khaira has been in and out of the lineup all year. He struggled last year and continues to struggle so far this season. He is nothing more than a low owned desperate DFS play.
Khaira helped Alex Chiasson in the first period of the 4-1 win over Columbus.
This is a fourth-liner with not much fantasy value at 10 points in 62 games (-20).
Khaira helped Leon Draisaitl in the first period as the Oilers won 4-3 in overtime on Sunday.
With nine points in 52 games (-18), this backline winger should be avoided in fantasy.
