Abdelkader is not fantasy relevant. He is however seeing more ice-time because the Red Wings are sitting everybody with any injury. He should be left on all waiver wires.

Abdelkader is on a heater. He still is not ownable in any format. This will not keep up because Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterburg are no longer his linemates. His best years occurred when he played with some of the most talented players in the league and now he is just playing out the contract.

Abdelkader has been bad this season. He has a lowly four points thru 15 games an is a minus 6. He has only six PIM to boot. Abdelkader is just playing out his contract at this point.

Abdelkader scoring is a rarity. He played in over a third of the game. He should be not be considered a fantasy option averaging only one shot a game.
