Matt Calvert had a goal and an assist in Colorado's 7-1 victory over the Coyotes on Monday. He finished the game with two points, a plus-2 rating, four shots and two hits.
Calvert was right on the doorstep waiting to pounce on anything that came towards the net. Sure enough, Mackinnon was driving to the goal and got a shot off which was picked up by Calvert and put home for the sixth of the game. He has one goal and three points in the 2020 post season.

Calvert's first goal was a two on one where he was staring down Bellemare the whole time, only two wrist one top cheese short side on Fleury. The second one (which came against Garrett Sparks) wasn't as pretty but came on the penalty kill as he found an open lane, fumbled the puck behind the net and simply sent it back in front, only for it find it's way into the net. The line depth for the Avalanche have been getting it done through the first ten games of the season and can be considered for streaming purposes at this point. Calvert is up to three goals and seven points so far this year.
