Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom will begin treatment next week, per Sam Carchidi on Twitter. The 23 year old Swede was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The team and NHL as a whole have rallied around Lindblom forming “Oskar Strong” in support.
Lindblom is out indefinitely while he battles this rare form of cancer.
