Travis Dermott buried a goal 15:18 into the second period to knot the game at one. Toronto would eventually prevail 4-2 over Montreal Wednesday.

Travis Dermott has been medically cleared to return and will be activated for his season debut on Tuesday night against the Capitals.
This is a welcomed addidtion for a Maple Leafs defensive group that has struggled of late. The 22-year-old is coming off his first full season with the Maple Leafs where he contributed 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in 64 games played. He's more likely to be a real-life boost to the Leafs than a boost to any fantasy teams. It's likely that Kevin Gravel will be sent to the AHL Marlies in a corresponding move.
