Warren Foegele lit the lamp Monday night as the Hurricanes defeated the Capitals 5-2 in Game Six to force a Game Seven in the series.
Foegele only had 15 points through 77 games played in the regular season, but this post-season he has turned it on for his squad. In just six games played, he is averaging a point per game and maintaining a plus-six rating as well. Carolina is impressed with the youngster's production in the playoffs and they are hoping he can help them get passed the Capitals in the first round.
Warren Foegele potted his first two career post-season goals, as well as dishing out an assist on one of Dougie Hamilton's goals too in Monday's win over the Capitals.
Foegele contributed in a major way to help the Canes win their first post-season game in ten years. He now has two goals, two assists and a plus-three rating in three games played so far this post-season.
