Carlos Ortiz (shoulder) withdraws from HPE Houston Open

Carlos Ortiz (shoulder) has withdrawn from the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open and will be out for the remainder of the Fall portion of the PGA Tour to recover from a left shoulder injury. (Richard Dean of the Houston Chronicle)

Fantasy Impact:

The 30-year old Mexican native had his best outing of the season despite playing through a left shoulder injury at Mayakoba, carding rounds of 67-65-67-66 to finish in second place at 19-under-par. Ortiz was slated to return as the defending champion at the HPE Houston Open, where he yielded a 13-under-par performance to win by two strokes.
