Lanto Griffin carded rounds of 67-65-69-67 to earn a T3 finish with a final score of 20-under-par during the 2022 American Express tournament.

The 33-year old American endured a see-saw performance throughout the weekend in La Quinta, starting 12-under-par during the first two rounds but settling into an eight-under-par finish in his final two rounds. Griffin has a strong putter and is solid in strokes gained approaching the green, while leaning on a powerful driver that buys him extra strokes near and on the green.
