Thomas continues to flash in big spots, going four-under-par or better in every round at TPC Craig Ranch. It was good prep for the 29-year-old American, with seven top ten finishes but only two finishes inside the top three. Thomas is excellent in most areas, but he stands out with his ball-striking, ranking fourth in total strokes gained and third in strokes gained tee-to-green. He's very good at finding the greens in regulation at just under 70 percent and has a putter that often buries birdies, resulting in a blistering 5.11 birdie average. Thomas is ranked 15th in the FedExCup and ninth in OWGR.
