Sam Gagne opened the scoring for Detroit but they fell to the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 on Thursday. He tallied a goal, an even-rating, five shots and one hit.
Fantasy Impact:
Detroit dumped the puck in and went after it. Gagne came out with the puck from behind the net and made a nifty spin move to beat Frederick Anderson on the short side top shelf for his fourth of the season. He's up to 12 points so far this year.
