Valeri Nichushkin posted two assists Thursday night for the Avalanche in a 4-2 loss to the Sabres.

Nichushkin has picked up points in two of four games since returning for the Avalanche, tallying three assists in that span. The 27-year-old will look to carry on as a solid option in an injury-stricken forward group, posting 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) in 11 games so far this season.
