Week 6’s Most Accurate Fantasy Experts

Week 6’s Most Accurate Fantasy Experts

Week 6 was an opportunity for redemption for several players failing to live up to preseason expectations (sorry Eddie Lacy owners, we’re not looking your way). Both Matthew Stafford and Andrew Luck finally delivered and a slew of disappointing RBs (Jonathan Stewart, DeMarco Murray, & Lamar Miller) stepped up. Fantasy owners who stuck with each player were rewarded handsomely with production likely beyond their expectations.

Of course, the fantasy experts also had a lot on the line this past week. Those who ranked the above players well undoubtedly saw a payoff in our accuracy competition. Anyone who didn’t missed an opportunity to prop up their accuracy rating.

So which experts delivered the best picks in week 6? Below are the top 10 pundits for the week along with a snapshot of our updated accuracy standings for the season.

Congrats to Michael Fabiano (NFL.com) for coming through with the most accurate rankings in week 6. The strong performance vaulted Fabiano up to the #1 rated expert for the season (view standings). Fabiano was one of the experts who stayed the course with DeMarco Murray (123 yards, 1 TD). His rank (#7 RB) was right on the money for what proved to be Murray’s most productive game as an Eagle. Fabiano also went higher than most pundits for LeSean McCoy (94 yards, 1 TD). He was among a small subset of experts that had McCoy rated as a top 15 RB and McCoy made good on that prediction despite playing at less than 100%. Fabiano was also much higher than the consensus (+12 rank spots) on another player returning from injury: Steve Smith (7 catches, 137 yards, 1 TD). Smith delivered by putting up top 5 WR numbers and he could have been the week’s #1 WR if it weren’t for a few untimely pass drops. Lastly, Fabiano was one of the experts that showed some belief in Matthew Stafford (405 passing yards, 4 TDs). He had Stafford right on the fringe of QB1 territory (his QB #13), which was higher than 90% of experts were willing to go for Stafford.
