We have a small four-game main slate tonight, so the options are limited at each position. There’s not a ton of value on the slate, yet there are six players who are over $9K on DraftKings. This means there are going to be some tough decisions when it comes to roster construction tonight. Be sure to check your news sources throughout the day, as you never know what injuries will pop up leading to value plays.

Chris Paul (HOU): $10,300 @ LAC
If you like a good DFS narrative, then take a stroll with Chris Paul in a revenge game tonight. Yes, he is up against his former team the Clippers tonight, which will be the first time he has played them since joining the Rockets this offseason. Paul has a 32% usage rate along with averaging 1.66 fantasy points per minute now that James Harden is out with an injury. That 32% usage is 5.8% higher than his normal, and exactly the type of stat you want to key in on. He has scored 49 or more DraftKings points in five straight games and is good for any format tonight. Since we have a smaller slate, there are limited options when it comes to value plays, so you have to decide on who you are spending up on. Paul makes a great pick tonight.

Donovan Mitchell (UTA): $7,100 vs. IND
Mitchell has a 29.9% usage rate while averaging 1.01 fantasy points per minute this season. Mitchell is one of the exciting young rookies in the league and is becoming the face the Jazz franchise. He has scored 32 or more DraftKings points in eight of his last 10 games, showing he has the consistency you want for cash games. He is up against the Pacers, who are on the second night of a back-to-back and are giving up 39 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards. The Pacers are dealing with a number of injuries right now, especially with their big men, which may make his driving to the basket easier.
Forwards
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SAC): $5,200 @ OKC
Bogdanovic is a very interesting option tonight, especially for GPPs. He is up against the Thunder in a game that has an over-under set at 210 points, making this a good spot to attack in DFS. The Thunder are going to be without their shooting guard Andre Roberson, who is one of the best wing defenders in the league. This presents an opening for Bogdanovic, who is a great mid-range and long-range shooter. He has scored 25 or more DraftKings points in four straight games and has taken 10 or more field goal attempts in three of his last four games. He has quickly worked his way into the offense. Bogdanovic has also played 24 or more minutes in each of his last 10 games.
Kevin Love (CLE): $7,600 vs. GS
This game is a great finals rematch and should be the contest of the night. We have the Warriors at the Cavaliers with an over-under set at 230 points. This is a massive total and something we want to get exposure to. The last time these teams played, Love put up 60 DraftKings points in 36 minutes, which is his highest total over his last 10 games. Love has a 27% usage rate and is averaging 1.23 fantasy points per minute this season. He is over $1K cheaper then he was on January 2nd, so you want to jump on him now while his price is lowered. With this game having such a high over-under, Love should be viable for both and GPPs. It should also be noted that the Warriors are giving up an average of 47 DraftKings points to power forwards.
Centers
Willie Reed (LAC): $4,300 vs. HOU
Reed is in line to get the start again tonight since DeAndre Jordan is dealing with an ankle injury. Jordan missed the Clippers game on Saturday and is listed as questionable for this game, making Reed a nice value play. When Reed got the start on Saturday, he played 26 minutes and put up 42 DraftKings points which is amazing production for a player at his price point. As I mentioned earlier, this is a small slate, so there are very limited value options across the board. If Reed does get the start, he will likely be very chalky, so there is some merit to fading him in tournaments. Reed is also averaging 0.97 fantasy points per minute when Jordan is off the court.
Derrick Favors (UTA): $6,000 vs. IND
Favors is up against the Pacers, who are giving up 57 DraftKings points per game to centers, which is dead last in the league. Favors is a nice mid-range option tonight and is averaging 0.98 fantasy points per minute with Rudy Gobert off the court. This is an extremely favorable matchup for him, and he should be a good cash game option for tonight. He is playing about 30 minutes per game and has double-double upside.
