The start of a new work week brings us a nine-game slate of NBA action to divert our attention. The slate is missing a few marquee players with Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook already ruled out. This will open up playing time and an increase in usage for the usual suspects on the Warriors and Thunder. However, the change to the roster in Minnesota leading up to Monday’s game against the Nets may draw the biggest change in focus of an offense on the slate.
Note that some of the stats referenced in this article are my custom DvP calculations that combine both season and last five games data along with blending similar positions production allowed together.

Paul George (SF/PF – OKC): $9,700 vs. PHO
This spot could go to Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant (minus Steph Curry) or George (minus Russell Westbrook). With prices tightening up to account for the marquee players out, I’m going to opt to save the salary and plug-in George. He has posted at least 49.75 DraftKings points in three of the last four games with Westbrook out. He also helps fill either the SF or PF slot which isn’t too deep on Monday’s slate.
