Here we go, baby, championship week! Let’s do it! Today I’ll give you my rankings for standard/half-PPR/PPR as well as SuperFlex and, of course, all of the primary positions. Hopefully my rankings can help you make up your mind on some of those hard choices. I’ll update these rankings every few hours up through the weekend and those changes will show up on this page. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to let me know on Twitter. Now before I show you all the rankings, let me tell you about four particular rankings that might surprise you and why I have them as I do.

Mike Davis (RB #29 vs ECR #48)
Yes, this is still Chris Carson‘s backfield, but the Seahawks run the ball enough that you can safely expect four to five carries plus a load of work in the passing game. The Chiefs are awful against pass-catching running backs like Davis, and the game script should have it that Davis gets a sizeable chunk of the snap count. If you are desperate for a flex play, he may be the answer, especially in a PPR league.
Kalen Ballage (RB #36 vs ECR #27)
Please, for your own sake, don’t fall into the trap of starting Ballage this week. Sure, Frank Gore is out for the season, but just because Ballage saw some work last week doesn’t mean he will all of a sudden pass Kenyan Drake too. Ballage is by no means a complete back, and while he may break a big run every now and then like Isaiah Crowell, you won’t want him on just 8 to 12 touches, especially considering his awful matchup versus the Jags.
DaeSean Hamilton (WR #31 vs ECR #43)
I can’t figure out for the life of me why Hamilton is ranked so low by the expert consensus. All he has done since being thrown into the starting lineup is lead the Broncos with 9 targets per game. He may not have the athleticism or long-term upside of Courtland Sutton, but he may be the more polished wide receiver of the two. Add in a juicy matchup versus the Raiders and we’ve got ourselves a solid WR3 for the championship game.
Chris Hogan (WR #44 vs ECR #61)
Like Davis, Hogan should only be played if you are desperate. Say you lost Keenan Allen and both Robby Anderson and Robert Foster are already picked up. That would be a scenario where you could use Hogan, who now that Josh Gordon is out, will likely be in the Patriots’ starting lineup. Granted, the matchup versus Buffalo is not ideal, but there aren’t any other available wide receivers this week with his kind of ceiling.
